No purchase necessary. A purchase doesn't improve your chances. You can enter on this page with no order, or by ticking the contest box on our customer photo form. Every entry is judged the same way, whichever route it came through.

Rounds: The contest starts November 3, 2026. A round closes when it reaches 200 approved entries, and the next opens right away. Any round still open on March 31, 2027 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time is judged with the entries it has. Each entry counts in one round only.

Who can enter: legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) and the 50 United States and D.C., aged 18 or older, or the age of majority where they live if higher. Company employees and their households can't enter. Void where prohibited.

Prize: one prize per round, a US$500 49dzine.com store credit delivered as a single-use code. It has no cash value, and any unused balance can't be refunded. It can pay for shipping and tax. The winner is responsible for any tax on the prize. The odds of winning depend on the number and quality of entries.

Judging: this is a contest of skill, not a random draw. Being the 200th entry doesn't win anything. Within 14 days after a round closes, at least two Company staff score its eligible entries: creativity 40%, composition 30%, originality 30%. Whether a product appears, and whether the person has ever bought from us, are not scored. The highest score wins, and ties are broken by the creativity score.

Entries: up to 5 per person per round. A person can win once per round. Entries must be your own original work, with no children, nothing created or altered with AI, nothing unsafe, offensive, or private, and no ceremony, sacred items, or settings where photos aren't appropriate. Everyone identifiable must be 18 or older and have agreed.

Winners: we email the winner within 7 days of judging. The winner has 14 days to reply, sign a declaration of eligibility and, if in Canada, correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing math question. If they don't, the next-highest entry may win. We'll post the winner's first name and province or state.

Other: the Company may disqualify entries that break these rules or tamper with the contest, and may change or cancel the contest if something outside its control affects it, as the law allows. Alberta law applies, except where local consumer law requires otherwise.

I am at least 18 and this is my own original work, or I have the creator's permission. I keep ownership. I give 49 Native Design Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use my entry, first name, and province or state to run the contest and announce and promote its results, on its websites, social media, and email. It won't use my entry in paid advertising or other marketing unless I separately agree. I can withdraw by emailing hello@49design.com, which also withdraws my entry. The Company collects my name, email, province or state, and entry to run the contest, and stores them in its private Google Workspace account. See the Privacy Policy.
